The idea of going into a recording studio, according to Billie Eilish, "freaks me out."
In a recent interview, Billie Eilish disclosed that she dislikes recording studios because they make her feel uneasy and generate social anxiety.
The singer of the famous song Happier Than Ever said that she doesn't like working in studios and added that she feels awkward when she runs into other musicians.
"Studios are not my favourite. I detest sessions. I don't like it when a runner approaches you and inquires about the type of cuisine you would like at so-and-so and whether you would like a LaCroix, Eilish said.
"I've never really loved the atmosphere at studios. There aren't any windows. It has a weed-like odour. There are other musicians there, and if you run into them, you look foolish, the singer continued.
"So you feel humiliated that they observed you acting foolish. I don't know, but it scares me. I actually have social anxiety because of that, the Academy Award winner admitted.
The 20-year-old singer admitted in the interview that she has "no idea" what her future in music holds before stating, "That's what so interesting about thinking about, "would you ever do this and that," because we all feel like we're going to be the same thing always, forever, and it's just not realistic."
For a few of years, I did work with a lot of people, but I really didn't like it. I simply don't. I hate FINNEAS so much," Eilish concluded. "FINNEAS is a flexible worker. The guy doesn't take a break since he doesn't need one.
The singer said, "For me, I go through moments where I feel incredibly creative and actually get stuff done, and then I go through phases where I don't do anything at all, musically."
